Today is Memorial Day. I thought about the meaning of this holiday all day and pondered what to use for music. I could have used something very pro-America, but I’m pro-World. I thought about using Bobby Darin’s version of “Sing a simple song of Freedom” but I really didn’t want to make a political statement. I want to make a humanitarian statement. Losing loved ones hurts. Losing them to wars is ridiculous. Those who fight our countries battles are heroes.

This is video’d at the World War I monument and Museum in Kansas City.
