I made several 45 minute playlists to send to my Soul Motion teachers for their feedback. I danced to one of them yesterday morning by myself. Today Marky and I had a session.
We were focusing on spirals – using the feet connection to the floor to send energy up the legs and into the “hara” or point 2 inches below the navel and then up into the heart center. This led to an awareness of space in the joints and fluidity of movement. The “Rebound” as Vinn calls it. It’s a very valuable lesson especially for Mark who has had very stiff joints in the past. He’s moving quite fluidly now! We also played with coming in and out of connection. After our “session”, we turned the camera on and made this dance.
